de camera obscura Exhibition

what remains of dreams

These images are the result of an investigation into one of Verona’s oldest neighbourhoods, Veronetta, where the high density of foreign inhabitants gives its residential fabric a very special character, depth and identity; revealing those traits and values that can be adopted for a true model of peaceful coexistence and cultural exchange, a melting pot of languages, colours, flavours and sounds that support extraordinary coexistence, enabling exchange and interaction between cultures.

In the room where its inhabitants sleep, the intimate place par excellence, that De Camera Obscura which preserves every secret, surprising, unexpected situations are revealed, those unmentionable analogies that break down distances and differences.

There, where dreams are born and hopes are built, entering on tiptoe, without violating its intimacy, we were greeted by the smile of a trusting maiden.
